NB. This application list is only monitored in October every year in preparation for the aptitudetest process. All applicants are required to do an aptitude test. Pupils are chosen on merit and successful applicants will start tuition in the first term (or later should vacancies arise) Pupils are required to practise daily and to attend all lessons. Fees are set per term and not per lesson. All pupils receiving individual tuition are required to play in an ensemble or the orchestra as soon as they have reached the required standard. Pupils are required to provide their own instruments. Rustenburg has a limited number of instruments for hire. The Music Staff will advise with regards to hire from other companies. Pupils may only be accepted if their school fees are paid up to date. All new pupils are on a trial period of ONE YEAR. Progress reports will be sent to parents twice a year. Continuation of tuition is dependent on satisfactory progress. A term’s notice should be given if lessons are to be terminated. *
