That's exactly how I felt while receiving this esteemed award. A heartfelt thank you to my incredible team, mentors, and peers for being part of this journey with me. Behind the accolades and applause are countless hours of collaboration, challenges overcome, and persistent effort to reach our goals. I'd love to hear your perspective, especially as we navigate the evolving landscapes of our respective industries. Reflecting on past achievements can be a truly humbling experience. 🏆 Two years ago, I was honored to receive the "Best Team Award" in my previous organization. Today, I stumbled upon this accolade once more, and it brought a smile to my face. 🌟 It's a reminder that hard work and dedication never go unnoticed, even if time has passed. 🕰️ This journey has multiple facets - from the sense of pride in personal accomplishments to the gratitude for the amazing team that made it possible. 🙏 But here's a thought-provoking question for all of us: How often do we pause to appreciate our past achievements and the people who contributed to them? 🤔 #Reflections #HardWorkPaysOff #TeamWork #Achievements #Gratitude #TimelessSuccess #AchievementUnlocked #HardWorkMatters #TeamSuccess #GratitudeJourney #TimelessRecognition #ReflectAndThrive

𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬! Quoting my father, "𝘼 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙨𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙩." It feels strange not to trumpet achievements, especially milestones like being recognized as Staff Member of the Year. Truth be told, I received the award a while back, and while the initial excitement was real, I held back from sharing it here. Why? Perhaps a fear of bragging, wanting the focus to remain on the team's work, or maybe (dare I say) a touch of imposter syndrome. Looking back, that hesitation feels wrong. This award isn't a brag; it's a testament to the incredible team I work with at CPG-KFUPM | College of Petroleum Engineering & Geosciences, the inspiring leaders who guide us, and the supportive network that empowers us all. It's also, ultimately, a message to YOU. This recognition wasn't about individual brilliance, but about dedication, collaboration, and a shared hunger to grow. That hunger, the relentless pursuit of improvement, is what truly fuels success. So, if this delayed announcement serves as a nudge, a spark to ignite your own journey of growth, then the silence was worth it. Remember, striving for more isn't about external validation; it's about pushing your boundaries, learning from setbacks, and celebrating the collective wins along the way. Let's not wait for applause to propel us forward. Let the pursuit of excellence, in whatever form it takes for you, be the driving force. The rest, including recognition, will follow in its own time. Now, get out there and make your own applause-worthy story! #employeerecognition #growthmindset #teamappreciation #dreambig

Some people hit hard in their ability to make an impactful, first impression. When I first met this week's Bravo award winner, Pratikshya M., she was right off a (relocation) flight from India, straight into a team offsite, and absolutely buzzing with quick wit, energy, and caffeine. That was almost two years ago, and Pratikshya has maintained the same energy (powered by far less coffees, well done) using the same Achiever strength that spurred her to move country, to help solve our most pressing Privacy & Measurement challenges in EMEA. Personally, I love seeing how Pratikshya's Achiever marries with her Responsibility strength - a combo that says: "I get things done - sometimes because it feels so good, and sometimes because I promised someone I would." Pratikshya most certainly works on behalf of her greater team, using her Restorative strength to tackle the hairiest problems, and her Individualization to pull others in based on their own strengths. All of this results in some pretty fabulous impact, and a well adored teammate. Bravo Pratikshya - keep being uniquely you! We love it. #Google #leadership #cliftonstrengths #bravo

Consistently provide value, regardless of the duration of your stay in an organization. The speed at which you accomplish tasks may be forgotten, but the lasting impression will be based on the quality and value you bring to the table. Always strive to enhance the well-being of both individuals and the organizations you engage with by contributing meaningful value. #value #addingvalue
Board Advisor. Non-Executive Director. Leadership, Culture & HR Consultant. Great Workplace Advocate.
Long Service Award vs High Impact Award. One speaks to tenure, the other to value. One may earn us a certificate or a plaque, the other will give us a place in history. Do not focus on the extended number of years that they will be happy to see you leave. Rather consistently deliver incredible value that they will do everything to TRY and make you stay. Do not spend time counting the years, make the substance in the years count. Value first! Value to self and to the ecosystem. Thank God it’s Monday! Cheers to another ah-mazing week and season’s greetings 🥂

Naman Bhat's National Level Inspire Award project under the guidance of Vasant Hegde is being developed further as to be implemented in the real world. As we are fine tuning its effectiveness, we welcome thoughtful suggestions. Do share with someone you know in the industry!. The light metering of our eyes works based on ambience. If some vehicle uses a high beam during daytime, it is not a problem at all, why? The ambience has a comparable amount of sunlight for our eyes to adapt. During the night, a similar situation is to be mimicked using a side lamp. As this particular spot happens to be the biggest blindspot for night time drivers.
