As part of the overarching Dachstrategie Starke Schiene ("Germany needs Strong Rail"), Deutsche Bahn is pursuing a goal of utmost importance - for the climate, for people, for the economy, and for Europe - to shift more traffic to rail. Understanding the nuances of this groundbreaking project was an eye-opening experience for our students! 🌍 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 #2: Transforming Legacy Processes: The Business Case for Digitalization 💻🔍 ➡ Jose Alonso ENRIQUEZ DIAZ presented a captivating case study on a large-scale #digitalization project involving multiple stakeholders. We gained invaluable insights into the challenges of digitalization in a large organization and the successful strategies for navigating such a complex undertaking. 🚀 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 #3: A Hands-on Approach: In-house Consulting at Deutsche Bahn 🤝💼 ➡ Unlike external consulting, in-house consulting projects at DB MC follow the entire project lifecycle, right through the operational execution of the recommendations. This 360° experience makes them excellent candidates to then join the mothership, DB.
