1. Do I need to bring my motorcycle for the expedition?
No, Hero MotoCorp will provide the Mavrick 440 motorcycle for the expedition.
2. What documents do I need to carry for the expedition ride?
Participants must carry eight passport-size photographs, physical and soft copies of their Aadhaar card, and a valid driving license. Please keep four scanned physical copies of all the documents.
3. Do I have to pay for the fuel during the expedition?
Hero MotoCorp will cover the cost of fuel for the motorcycles.
4. Are pillion riders allowed?
No, pillion riders are not allowed on this expedition.
5. Do I need to sign an indemnity bond?
Yes, all participants must sign an indemnity bond, a format will be shared post-confirmation of the participants.
6. Do I need to carry my riding gear?
Yes, participants must bring their own complete set of riding gear for the expedition ride.
7. Are personal first-aid kits required?
Yes, participants should bring a personal first aid kit containing basic medications and supplies as per their medical history.
8. Will there be any fees for permits during the expedition?
Hero MotoCorp will manage all necessary permits for the expedition, it is included in the registration fee.
9. Do I need to bring motorcycle tools?
No, Hero MotoCorp will manage all necessary troubleshooting of the motorcycles during the expedition.
10. Are meals included in the expedition package?
Yes, Hero MotoCorp will provide all major meals i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner during the expedition. Participants will need to pay for their own refreshments at pit stops for ex. Tea/coffee/cold drinks/maggie/omlet/ cigarettes etc.
11. What type of room will be provided during the stay?
Rooms will be based on double occupancy.
12. What is the registration fee for the expedition?
The registration fee for the expedition is ₹24,999.
13. Do I need to arrange my travel to Leh?
Yes, participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their round-trip travel to Leh.
