NBCC Recognizes Rep. Neal's Efforts to Include Counselors in Medicare

U.S. Rep. Richard Neal, as Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, was instrumental in securing the passage of Medicare coverage for counselors and marriage and family therapists in last year’s federal omnibus budget bill. The Medicare Mental Health Workforce Coalition recently honored Rep. Neal in a formal reception.
