JOHOR BARU: Johor Pakatan Harapan will not ask for any positions in the state executive committee to match the cooperation at federal level under the unity government administration.
Johor Pakatan chairman Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said the current state government was stable under the leadership of Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.
"Pakatan is not demanding anything as we see that political stability in Johor is very important.
"The inception of the unity government at federal level has also created a 'balancing force' in Johor.
"Even though we are not part of the state government, we have been involved in many programmes, so we are not asking for anything, especially executive committee posts," he said after launching the iTTV e-Learning Online Tuition Rahmah Package here on Saturday (June 24).
However, the Amanah deputy president, said they would make a request for Pakatan leaders to be appointed at grassroots level.
Salahuddin, who is also Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister, said the e-tuition programme is an expansion of the Rahmah initiative to help B40 families.
"In Johor alone, we have about 500,000 primary and secondary students.
"This online tuition package offers more than 3,000 video tutorials on all subjects.
"Starting this month, students will be able to access all of these materials for as low as RM5 per month for Year 4 pupils and up to RM15 per month for those in Form 4 and 5," he said.
