KANSAS CITY—The Utah Valley women's soccer team is receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 national poll released on Tuesday.  
 
It marks only the second time in program history that the Wolverines have received votes in the top 25. UVU received votes in the top 25 poll for the first time in UVU history last season. The team has never earned a spot in the top 25.
 
The Wolverines received two points in the poll and is one of only six teams among others receiving votes. 
 
Utah Valley has played three teams that are currently ranked in the top 25 and holds a 1-2-0 record in those three matches. UVU dropped matches to Clemson (No. 7) and BYU (No. 8) before picking up a 3-2 win over USC (No. 13) on the road.
 
UVU is one of the top scoring teams in the nation this season as the squad ranks fifth in the country with 43 goals scored. UVU also ranks fourth in the country with 126 points. Utah Valley's Faith Webber ranks third nationally in scoring with 14 goals. The 14 goals ties her own UVU program record for goals scored in a single season. Webber also ranks fourth nationally in goals per game at 0.93 per match. 
 
Utah Valley currently sits atop the WAC standings with a 5-0-1 record and 16 points. UVU holds a four-point lead over second place Seattle U (4-2-0) with 12 points. 
 
The Wolverines are currently ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches Pacific Regional Top 10 poll—the highest regional ranking in program history. 
 
Utah Valley has three WAC matches remaining on its regular season slate. The Wolverines are set to take on WAC rival on Saturday night at Clyde Field. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
