I must say that I didn't think that this soy sauce was soooo great. For one it's organic, with a great taste and evens enhance the taste of your food. I really didn't like soy sauce until I tasted this one. Most soy sauces are extremely salty and just have a bad taste. The only thing I would use mainly was sweet and sour sauce. But this product is great!!!! I would recommend this product for steamed vegetables also.

The Betterbody Foods Organic Coconut Aminos Soy Sauce Replacement has 45% less sodium than soy sauce. It smells and tastes like soy sauce, but it just has a milder flavor and lighter scent. It contains organic coconut syrup and himilayan salt which makes it a healthier alternative to soy sauce. Betterbody Foods Organic Coconut Aminos has no preservatives, is non-GMO, and gluten free. It is shelf stable so it does not require refrigeration, but does need to be stored in a cool, dark, dry place. It makes a wonderful addition to my spice cabinet.

After reading all the health benefits of Coconut Aminos over soy sauce I have been looking for a nicely reviewed decently priced bottle to try. This Betterbody Foods Coconut Amino tastes just like soy sauce with way less sodium and it is gluten free! Only two ingredients in the bottle. My favorite is that I don't have to waste refrigeration space because there is no need to refrigerate after opening. The expiration isn't until the end of the year either which is great! The Coconut Aminos are more expensive than basic soy sauce but the benefit of health and great taste makes it worth the spend. The soy substitute cooks just the same as well!

So Delicious & Way Better than Soy!

I use soy sauce all the time when cooking my stir fry dinners. I am always worried about the amount of salt that they have in them.
This Betterbody Foods Organic Coconut Aminos Soy Sauce Replacement is such a blessing. Less salt, and such a delicious taste! I was so excited to try it. I made some chow mein with veggies with this replacement and it was so delicious! My grandkids actually loved it too! I had to make more. Seriously, this stuff is delicious!! The noodles and veggies cooked right up easily and deliciously. Almost a sweet taste to it. With the kids liking it too, I am going to be cooking with it from now on. Delicious Replacement for Soy Sauce!

My husband and I are always looking for ways to cut down our sodium and calorie intake, and this Organic Coconut Aminos is the perfect way to cut down on both. And, it's Organic! I love that it's a great gluten free alternative to soy sauce.Both my husband and I love to cook.Our family loves Asian food, but regular soy sauce is so salty, and we prefer the taste of less sodium. It doesn't taste like coconut, but has a rich savory flavor that taste so good on so many different dishes. This Better Body Foods is far more superior than the one we are using now! Yay!
When I am planning a chicken stir fry, the night before I place some chicken pieces in a baggie overnight and refrigerate. The chicken not only has more flavor, but the chicken also comes out so tender after cooking. I stir fry the chicken, then I add some veggies and stir in some more of the coconut aminos, just enough so the veggies have the flavor. When done cooking, I have a fabulous tasting dinner, that even my young picky eaters enjoy! It is soooo delicious. 
I can use this on fish, veggies, hamburgers, chicken dishes, and so much more. It adds such a great taste to my dishes.

Delicious Substitute For Soy Sauce

I received this bottle of Organic Coconut Aminos by Better Body Foods which is for a soy sauce replacement. I am somebody who loves soy sauce however it gives me a headache. I have recently switched over to using coconut aminos and this brand is so good. The taste has a little bit of a sweetness to it but it is a great substitution. I have used this in stir fry and marinades and it taste so good. This coconut aminos has 45 percent less sodium than soy sauce which I really like. I also like the fact that this is organic and it is also soy and gluten free. If you are looking for a switch from soy sauce you will want to give this brand a try.

Great Alternative to Soy Sauce

I am writing this review on the Betterbody Foods Organic Coconut Aminos Soy Sauce Replacement 500ml. I can't say enough good things about this product. Not only is it much better for you than soy products but it tastes better in my opinion as well. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. I actually prefer it over regular soy sauce. I highly recommend this to all my friends and family or anyone looking for a healthy soy sauce alternative.

So good!

We use quite a bit of soy sauce so I was interested in trying out a lower sodium replacement. The Coconut Amino soy sauce replacement has a slightly thicker pour than soy sauce does, but otherwise it looks very much the same. You can smell the coconut source coming from it, and none of the appealing 'brewed' scent you get from soy sauce. Don't get me wrong, I like coconuts a lot, but I also like the umami scent of soy sauce. The flavor is as salty as you would want from a soy sauce replacement, but it is also slightly sweet. What I found this coconut amino sauce most useful for was for dishes that actually require a touch of sweetness with the salt, like adobo chicken for example. But when you really want that strong umami scent and flavor that comes from soy sauce, that is when the coconut amino sauce is not quite the best match. But I do like having it on hand for that 'it needs something' moment, that is when the coconut amino sauce really shines, I think.

For when you need that finishing touch

I am very excited to see there is an alternative to soy sauce. The Betterbody Foods Organic Coconut Aminos Soy Sauce Replacement is a natural, non-GMO and made from the rich sap of the coconut palm. I was thinking it will be a great alternative for people who cannot have soy or prefer something else that is not soy. Ok, let's start with the smell because that is what normally people will notice as soon as they open anything up, is the aroma. It definitely does not smell like soy sauce. I tried really hard to compare it to something I have had before, but the only way I can explain it is that it has a bit of sour smell. I double checked the expiration date and I am good, the date is way before the expiration period. I poured it out and the color is quite light in color and the sauce is thin. I tasted it by itself and my immediate thought was, this does not taste like soy sauce at all. It had a bit of sour taste, but not so sour that it is intolerable. It is not as salty as regular soy sauce and the one thing I noticed that was very strong is the sweetness of it. Although it doesn't taste like soy sauce, the flavor is very good. I realized it tastes like something I would use for potstickers. So of course, I went and pan fried some potstickers and used this as a dipping sauce and it tastes spectacular! Although I don't think I can completely replace soy sauce with this, I definitely can find use for this sauce.

Can't replace soy sauce, but tastes great!

I have always wanted to try Coconut aminos as I'm on a ketogenic diet. The coconut aminos are great for making Asian food such as sesame chicken, beef with broccoli, or fried rice. I'm never going back to soy sauce. I just wish it had a little less sugar.

Always wanted to try

Definitely Not my family's favorite. I have to say I was Very excited to try the Organic Coconut Aminos Soy Sauce Replacement. I was thinking healthy alternative for my family. I happened to have a low sodium soy sauce and I compared the two. The Coconut Aminos has 30 calories, the low sodium, 5 calories. The Coconut Aminos has sugar, the low sodium has none. The Coconut Aminos has 7g of carbs, low sodium has 1g. Now on a sodium level, The Coconut Aminos has 480mg and the low sodium soy sauce has 570mg. That was the only good thing about the Coconut Aminos. I was disappointed in the taste, although I didn't think it was as bad as my family thought. For the family they disliked it alot. I don't taste the Coconut in the product although my family does. The shelf life, at least on the bottle I received isn't very long. It is due to expire in a few months, I was disappointed about that. The bottle is a good size though.
