Ordering, shipping and delivery was prompt. Really cool pedal that is extremely versatile. Would recommend highly to anyone using various back lines as this pedal offer's reverb, vibrato, bass, treble, volume & gain controls all in one device. Reverb is a little "touchy" for my sweet spot, but it eliminated having to carry an additional pedal and less is always best!

Very solidly built as per All Boss pedals. Has a good range of drive tones and EQ. I bought it more for the reverb.....As per other reviews, the reverb starts out pretty good on low settings, but as you get 1/2 way and above, it starts making wierd "Star Wars" sounds (think light sabre fight). Swooshing and popping noises. If you want a great reverb, look at the Boss 63 Reverb pedal. More expensive, but great sounding.

This pedal has a lot packed into it... 1. Blackface Tone and Gain... Excellent 2. Vibrato... Excellent 3. Reverb.... if used lightly it is fine but if you push the reverb too much it sounds like someone is pulling on the springs of a real reverb tank and letting them pop Most annoying sound and really a disappointment that they emulated that to be too sensitive I wish there were an upgrade to fix the issue because then it would be an Excellent pedal

I was looking to have an alternative to my full valve amp tired of hauling it from gig to gig. This works fine most of the time. It´s good clean and, if you want that little overdrive of a tube amp, it gets it too. Add the serviceable tremolo and you got a nice instant sound. The reverb is nasty. Overall, a good choice.

If you want the sound of a deluxe reverb but don't want to carry one, this is the ticket! Is it exactly the same? Probably not, but it's close. If I crank the reverb I can get a respectable clean surf sound......if I want a little grit, I can get that too. Add the cool tremelo effect and this things a winner.....not sure why Boss discontinued it. I'm getting the Boss Bassman pedal next, and with that I can get pretty much any sound I can think of. My reference amp is a Dr. Z Maz 18, and with a couple of pedals I can get Marshall sounds, Vox, and now Fender. Pretty cool! Highly recommended. Tony S. Denver,CO

Amp simulation is just ok as is the tremelo until you turn up the reverb, Anything past 3 has awful sounding artifacts making it unusable for me. Huge disappointment!

It's not a 65 but for something without trem and reverb it works, adds gain. It could be better but not easy to do what it claims to do. There's a useful trem setting that's better than none at all for sure.

Like many other reviewers, I wish this pedal also emulated the clean tone from a Deluxe Reverb amp. Unfortunately, no matter where you set the gain, there is always a distorted tone, so it is basically a distortion pedal with reverb and vibrato added to it. If Boss had added a clean tone to the mix, I'm sure this pedal would have been widely sucessful, and still be offered in their product lineup.

I like it a lot. I thought it was the ‘63 when I bid , but this does the trick for a hack like me. I’m actually a bass player, but enjoy noodling around on guitar, and the reverb was what I was missing sonically. To my untrained ears, anyway. And it’s a Boss,so it matches almost everything on my pedal board. 👍🤘

I own a deluxe reverb. This bears little resemblance , but it’s an ok pedal. There’s a reason Boss doesn’t make this pedal anymore.
