The Quantum Technologies Conference, scheduled for Friday, 22 March 2024, in Brussels, Belgium, will be pivotal to shaping Europe’s quantum future. This full-day event, from 9:00 to 17:00, aligns with the EuroHPC Summit. It represents a commitment to positioning the EU as a frontrunner in quantum technology.
Shaping Europe's Quantum Future
This conference will feature a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, focusing on the EU's strategy for the next decade – the ‘Quantum Decade’ – and the role of quantum technologies in the global tech race. High-level speakers from academia, industry, and governmental bodies, including European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton and representatives from Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre and other leading institutions, will provide invaluable insights.
Workshops will delve into the implementation of European Quantum Competence Clusters, facilitating hands-on discussions. The event will culminate in a ceremony celebrating the member states’ signatures of the Quantum Declaration, marking a significant milestone in the EU's quantum journey.
