Can’t get enough of these characters!
Can’t get enough of these characters! Even as the premise of these characters and their connected story changes, it adds another element to this series that continues to make me come back and keeps me on the edge of my seat. This installment focuses on Val and her return to her dream of becoming a doctor, and we get introduced to the one she left in order to come back to her family. Unbeknownst to Val, Felix has relocated to the same town as her in a twist to become her attending doctor so he can give her a dose of the pain he felt when she left to return home to her family and the circus. Turns out there are some crazy twists that involve Felix’s best friend and keeping him and Val apart. I loved Val, much like all the sisters, and my heart broke for her but made me so happy that she got to go back and keeps herself strong in a hostile workplace. My heart broke for Felix with a double whammy of things, and I love that his best friend got what she deserved. I can’t wait for the next installment – I truly love LLV and her writing, and the plots she comes up with really just are the best!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Awesome as usual
This author never fails to create something Great! Love all of her books and always can’t wait to see what she does next.
Felix and Val
I’ve been waiting patiently (read as really impatiently!) for this book. Ever since we met Felix and his relationship with Cal was hinted at this has been one of my highly anticipated read from the series. I mean let’s face it all are highly anticipated…but I digress!
I absolutely fell for these two and my heart broke for them because of how their relationship ended. But the emotions as we see them find each other again and let go of old hurts and just know they are meant to be together is just so addictive.
I didn’t want to put the book down.
As I have said with every book in this series, it just keeps getting better and better.
