Hi everyone. My name is Ellie. I am currently on holiday in Hisaronu Turkey, where I’ve been coming for 22 years. I am reaching out to fellow dog lovers in a bid to raise the funds to bring Honey to the UK where she can have a loving family and a new bestfriend ( our dog Luna).

Honey is a gentle and playful girl, living on the streets of hisaronu with many other street dogs over there, back in January she was potentially owned wearing a collar, she was roaming the beach/ streets of oludeniz. Since then she’s found her feet in hisaronu on the street. The conditions aren’t great for them, the heat is unbearable some months and they can become so easily poorly or caught in busy traffic.

Honey is so loving and had instant comfort around me and my family when we came across her. It would be great to be able to give her the life she deserves.

The costs are going to be around £2000- These costs cover roughly vet costs which are about £480, fostering is £35-£56 per week and transport between £900-£1,200 which includes some additional paperwork so it does add up.

This is out of reach for us at the moment which is why we are reaching out to the generosity of others!

If we don’t raise enough money to bring this beautiful girl home then all money will be donated to ANIMAL AID OVACIK, HISARONU, KAYAKOY, OLU DENIZ & H.A.R.P - Hunters animal rescue program which is the animal aid in the area. Honey has been neutered and has been cared for previously. These lovely people are volunteers that work off donations to provide the street animals with their basic needs I.e. food throughout the year, vet bills, neutering and the rest!…
