1. Appropriate dress code must be observed at all times and only smart-casual or professional business clothes are allowed during class hours;
2. The class venue shall be assigned prior to the start of the class and will be basis of the transportation allowance;
3. No private lessons shall be conducted outside the designated venue assigned by PolyGlot Language Tutorial Center. Should the teacher be reported soliciting students to a private lesson, the salary of the teacher will be put ‘on-hold’ until such time that it is proven otherwise;
4. The salary is “NO WORK NO PAY” and will be given on a _____ (daily, weekly or monthly) basis, as per the agreed upon compensation rate and travel allowance.
5. A maximum of one (1) excused absence (including cancellation of classes) shall be tolerated provided that Polyglot management has been notified 24-hours prior to the scheduled class, as indicated above; in case of cancellation of classes the instructor must fill out first the form of Cancellation of Classes and must be approved by the Polyglot OIC.
6. Any issues with regard to the class and changes of schedule should be directly discussed with the respective Polyglot branch handling class;
7. Proper decorum must be conducted at all times. The teacher shall maintain a teacher-student relationship at all times and is not allowed to make use of any obscene or inappropriate languages towards the students;
8. The terms and conditions herein must be treated with utmost confidentially. The teacher is not allowed to disclose her compensation to the student and to other teaches; and
9. Polyglot reserves the right to impose appropriate legal action should the teacher fail to meet the provisions stipulated herein.
