Kate Morrow, Ra’d Qandour and Caitlin Grehan report on the Western Australian government’s introduction of the Commerce Regulations Amendment (Building Services) Regulations 2022 (WA). In a Western Australian first, the Regulations will require engineers to be registered to carry out building engineering work. The authors helpfully summarise the key proposals in the Regulations.
