Some Mildly Interesting Facts
- Pools A and B each had two upsets.
- Pool C was the most misbehaved with three upsets and a surprising tie.
- Pool A had two dominant teams; pool B only one; in pool C the dominant team did not make the playoff due to an upset and a tie.

Performance of each team against the top 2 teams in the pool

- For each team, the X coordinate is the margin of loss to the top team in the pool.
- The Y coordinate is the margin of loss to the second-ranked team in the pool.
- Therefore, the X coordinate of the top-ranked teams is 0: Â they lie on the Y axis.
- Similarly, the second-ranked teams lie upon the X axis.
Observations:
- The top two teams in Pool A were very competitive, and dominated all the other teams
- The #1 team was upset only once, in Pool C, by the #2 team
- The #2 team was upset twice: Â in Pool B by the #3 team, and in C by the #5 team. Â Additionally, the Pool C #2 was tied by the #4.
