Bukit Aman leaving it to SC to probe company belonging to celebrity's husband

KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman is leaving it to the Securities Commission (SC) to investigate the company belonging to the husband of celebrity Heliza Helmi.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said the police are aware of the SC's action in listing the company under the investor alert list.

"We are aware Mahadi Badrul Zaman's company - AUF MBZ Consortium Plt - was listed in the SC's list.

"While we are not conducting any investigation, our initial findings are the same as the SC, which is that the company did not have proper licence to operate.

"However, we will leave it to the SC to investigate the matter further," he told a press conference after launching the Semakmule 2.0 on Sunday (March 3).

It was previously reported that Mahadi's company was listed in the investor alert list.
