The end of the school year is quickly approaching and it is time to turn our attention to the summer activities. The Kickapoo Area School District will once again be offering “Fundamentals of Softball” to three age groups: (3rd/4th) grades, (5th/6th) grades, and (7th/8th) grades.
All practices and games will be Monday through Thursday for 10U and Monday through Friday for 12U and 14U in the months of June and July. We will be using the softball diamond, at the school, for all practices and home games. Practice for the 7th/8th(14U) and 5th/6th(12U) teams will be (10:00a-11:30p) and practice for the 3rd/4th(10U) teams will be (11:30p-12:30p).
Tee ball and 8U practice dates have not yet been determined, we would like to figure out numbers before we schedule practice days/times so feel free to sign-up your younger children also. T-shirts will be ordered for t-ball and 8u.
Fill out one form per player you are registering. The deadline is May 2nd. Player registration is 10.00 and is due by May 2nd, you can write one check if you have multiple players in softball. Payments can be made out to KAS Summer Softball and turned into Melissa in the Elementary office or Crystal in the High School Office. The schedule is attached with practice and games but please remember these are subject to change. We will also be using Team Reach to communicate throughout the summer, this is where cancellations and changes will be communicated.
