So of course, the year that Polly Pocket celebrates turning 35, the brand remains as relevant as ever. On the heels of Loewe taking inspiration from the brand last fall, GCDS became the latest fashion house to celebrate Polly's impact on the generation of adults that played with her as kids. Giuliano Calza, GCDS's creative director, was inspired by what it means to grow up and the aspects of our childhood we retain. There's something really amazing about looking at Polly through the lens that the toys are more than compacts you can bring anywhere. The wonder, humor, and playful sense of style she inspired are things many Polly kids brought with them into adulthood. Huge congrats to the entire Mattel Europe team for such a great partnership.
