A new type 3 #towpreg #CRYOGAS #hydrogen #storage vessel technology is on the way! The Cryomotive GmbH team is proud to announce that a new generation of #CcH2 #CRYOGAS #hydrogen #storage #vessel with mass-production ready #towpreg #winding scheme has seen the first light of the #Bavarian sunrise this morning. The first two new #CRYOGAS hydrogen storage vessels with #towpreg winding look great and a new relaxed phase for #Cryomotive’s hydrogen storage manufacturing team has started. The secrets of our new type 3 #towpreg #CRYOGAS #hydrogen #storage vessel: there are many, which we cannot all share, but here a few: 📌Design for resistance against thermo-mechanical cycling #fatigue through our choice of materials, winding scheme, autofrettage pre-stressing technology 📌 Mass production ready #manufacturing #process: Repeatability, accuracy suitable for a continuous automated winding and baking process 📌 Easy and #clean manufacturing: no mess with #wet #resin #winding anymore, relaxed automatic #winding and later #baking with no hurry General facts about the innovative #CcH2 #CRYOGAS (Cryo-compressed hydrogen storage, named #CRYOGAS by Cryomotive GmbH): #CcH2 #CRYOGAS #hydrogen #storage and #refueling technology is one of the most promising hydrogen onboard vehicle storage technologies with very high volumetric density, quasi loss-free operation and cheap and easy #refueling, synergetic to gaseous hydrogen (#CGH2) or liquid hydrogen (#LH2)! Soon #Cryomotive’s technology is ready for application in #hydrogen #trucks, #buses, #ships and small #aircrafts. The new #Cryomotive #CROYGAS hydrogen storage vessel as in the pictures can store around 40 kg of cold gaseous compressed hydrogen at up to 45 MPa (450 bars). Two of our vessels (e.g. left and right of the truck frame) can bring a hydrogen truck a 1000 km range per fill. A refill of 80 kg of #CRYOGAS can be performed in less than 15 minutes. With a cascade of larger #CRYOGAS vessels we could store tons of #greenhydrogen onboard of #ships, #distribution #trailers, #shipping #containers and #aircrafts.
