Vilas Boas Esteves, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of the
School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho (EEG), took, on
10 and 11 July 2023, the Aggregation Exams in Economics, presenting the report
of the subject "Information, Markets and Strategies", of the Master's
Degree in Economics of the School of Economics and Management of the University
of Minho, and a lesson on the theme "Behavioural Price Discrimination: The
importance of the distribution of consumer preferences and the type of demand
function in welfare outcomes".
The exams
were held at EEG, and the jury was chaired by Cláudia Maria Neves Simões,
President of the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho,
and had as members João Correia da Silva, Full Professor at the University of
Porto, Steffen Hoerning, Full Professor at Nova SBE of the University Nova de
Lisboa, Cesaltina Maria Pacheco Pires, Full Professor at the Faculty of Social
Sciences of the University of Évora, Linda Rosa Fonseca Gonçalves Veiga, Full
Professor at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho
and Odd Rune Straume, Full Professor at the School of Economics and Management
of the University of Minho.
The candidate
was unanimously approved.
