Our charities for 2022 are The Kings Mill Toy Appeal (which raises a smile of the faces of poorly children on ward 25 at Kings Mill Hospital) and Once upon a Smile, which provide opportunities for children to understand and express their emotions during bereavement in a fun and safe environment. (Charity Number 1170975). Once upon a smile will be bringing their own team and they will be made up of Celebrities from TV, stage, radio and ex-footballers. Once upon a Smile is co-founder is Danny Miller AKA Aaron Sugden-Dingle from Emmerdale.
We also have plenty of children’s entertainment including face-painting, bouncy castle and a mini fun fair. We already have a number of local companies getting involved, including Mansfield 103.2 radio whom are doing an outside broadcast on the day.
