ACT Exam Prep Course Registration Information
The Booker T. Washington Foundation for Excellence is dedicated to supporting students, teachers, and families as they strive for academic excellence and success.

Enroll in this FREE ACT Prep Class in preparation for the April, 2024 11th grade ACT exam.
*Class is FREE to BTW students
*Taught by SAT/ACT Experts with over 30 years of combined experience
*8 hours of live, virtual instruction + recordings available
*Includes content review, tips, tricks, and strategies
*Limited spaces available; preference given to 11th grade students
*Class meets on the Google Meet virtual platform
*Students need a copy of The Official Guide ACT Prep Guide 2023-2024 BEFORE the course begins.  The Foundation will purchase a copy for students who cannot afford it.

                                                                           Class Information
This Comprehensive Review includes 8 hours of virtual, live instruction designed to prepare students for the ACT. The course includes content review as well as tips, tricks, and strategies for all areas tested on the ACT. Students will be assigned homework between classes. All materials will be emailed to students. Each week, the instructors will email all enrolled students recordings of class and/or videos of the lectures. If students are unable to attend the live class, they will be able to catch up using the videos and recordings.

                                                                 About Your Expert Instructors
Megan (Schaunaman) Neely was a National Merit Scholar in high school and scored a perfect 36 on the Math, Science, and Reading portions of the ACT. At the University of Oklahoma, she was named the Outstanding Senior Woman in 2004-2005 and has been teaching and tutoring the ACT, SAT, and PSAT ever since. Since 2007, Mrs. Neely has taught more than 200 National Merit Scholars, Finalists, Semifinalists, and Commended Scholars, and has helped more than a thousand students prepare for the ACT. Charlotte McGuire is a Bishop Kelley English teacher with over 25 years of classroom and private tutoring. She has helped students from numerous Tulsa area high schools improve their ACT, PSAT, and SAT scores. The average improvement on the English test is 5 points but has been as high as 11 points.

This course, which is typically offered at a cost of $300 per student, is sponsored by the Booker T. Washington Foundation for Excellence and is available to Booker T. students at no charge. Space is limited.  We ask you to agree to the following participant pledge:

I am a Booker T. Washington High School student, and I agree to follow the curriculum in this four-week course.  The information I give on this form will shared only with course instructors who will email course information and materials to me and by a Foundation committee that will evaluate course effectiveness.  At no point will my name be given to or used by the evaluating committee.  I know that space is limited and that 10 and 11th grade students have first priority.
