Oak Bay Walkathon for Girl In The Wild

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Taylor. I went to Girl in the Wild in 2021 and it was a really life-changing experience for me. So me and my mom, Joanne, have decided to give back and raise at least $2500—the cost to send one youth to camp this summer.

To do it, we're doing a little something called the Oak Bay Walkathon. And we're hoping you'll support us by donating to Girl in the Wild and/or walking along with us.

DETAILS
June 11, 2023
10 AM - 4 PM

Route:
Willows Beach to Oak Bay Marina
(and back and forth and back and forth and... you get the idea!)

We'll have a tent set up at Willows Beach.
Come visit, cheer, sign up for a time to walk with us, and donate there.

Importance Of This Camp:
This camp teaches the upcoming generation of young women (and non-binary individuals) to support, embrace and love themselves and their peers. You face daily emotional, mental and physical challenges that you conquer as a team of strong women. You dance on the top of a mountain, swim in a glacier lake, stargaze, and embrace every flaw you feel. This camp gives a safe space to be yourself, heal, and learn applicable life lessons that help you and others become more supportive humans. Girl In The Wild is entirely free, hence the importance to fundraise in order to send girls to camp.
