💬Join @aspa.paris and @sciencespoenvironnementparis on the sidelines of this year’s COP28 in Dubai, we want to explore what kind of opportunities the global climate summit holds for accelerating the (green) energy transition in Africa.

🌍80% of the global population lacking electricity access life in Sub-Saharan Africa. Approximately 600 million people, nearly 49% of Sub-Saharan Africans, lack access to electricity—this, mostly in rural areas. We know that energy is at the heart of development: It enables investments, fosters new industries, and generates employment opportunities. Access to energy is also crucial for livelihoods as it is indispensable for quality public services like healthcare and education, as well as poverty reduction.
