The Children and Young People's Centre for Justice works towards ensuring that Scotland’s approach to children and young people in conflict with the law is rights- respecting, contributing to better outcomes for our children, young people and communities. Children and young people are at the heart of all our activity, although one of our key mechanisms for change is by supporting policymakers and practitioners.

We are seeking a Research Fellow to work within our Research Workstream to build on and develop our Young People’s Research Programme, as well as to support the Research Lead and to provide additional capacity in supervising PhD students and research staff. We would be particularly interested in applicants with experience of coproduction and participatory or youth-led research. Good written skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, especially with children but also with family members and professionals.

Please note this is a fixed term full-time appointment for 12 months. This may be extended dependent on securing additional funding.
