We happy to share that our article titled "Intelligent Mission Critical Services over Beyond 5G Networks: Control Loop and Proactive Overload Detection" has been accepted in IEEE SmartNets 2023, International Conference on Smart Applications, Communications and Networking 2023 (https://lnkd.in/d3iPeESW). IEEE SmartNets 2023 was technically supported by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and brought together experts, researchers, and academia as well as actors in the technology and big data industry. The paper deals with the emerging trend for deploying Mission Critical Services (MCS) under diverse network conditions in the 5G and beyond networks. Considering emergency collision events (e.g., abrupt depletion of network or service resources) that necessitate a flexible deployment of the MCS, we present an efficient management solution of the associated resources and a technical solution towards proactive MCS overload detection, both from the architectural, methodological and experimental perspective. If you are interested in learning more about that, check IEEE Xplore (online at: https://lnkd.in/dmeGw4Ja). Tactile Internet signifies a revolutionary leap in global networking, offering seamless human-to-machine interaction through haptic sensations and redefining machine-to-machine communication. Our research introduces a novel multi-modal concurrent transmission method, optimizing resource allocation to uphold reliability and minimize delay without sacrificing spectral efficiency. The scheme is backed by information theoretic results. More details can be found in the paper below, which will be presented in the IEEE WCNC next week.
