Vote by Mail: Absentee ballot requests are due by March 7, 2024, 5:00 p.m. EST, and should be returned by Mar 19, 2024, 7:00 PM EDT
Early Voting: Early voting is available from Saturday Mar 9, 2024 to Saturday Mar 16, 2024
Election Day: March 19, 2024 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

What is a primary election?
A primary election is where parties decide who to nominate as their candidate in the general election, which takes place in November.
Florida is a “closed primary” state. To vote in the primary election, voters must be registered with a political party (and can only vote for candidates running on their chosen party).
Unaffiliated or independent voters are not able to participate in the primary.
Any U.S. Citizens, at least 18 years old, that are residents of Florida are eligible to vote as long as they have not been declared mentally incompetent by a court or convicted of a felony.

How can I prepare?
You will need a photo ID to vote in Florida.
You can use the following photo IDs if they are unexpired and include your signature: Florida driver’s license, Florida state ID, U.S. Passport, Debit or credit card, Military ID, Student ID, Retirement center ID, Neighborhood association ID, Public assistance ID, Veterans health ID card issued by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, License to carry concealed weapon or firearm, Employee photo ID card issued by Federal Government, State of Florida, county, municipality or other entity of Florida.
If your photo ID has no signature, be prepared with an additional ID that has your signature.
If you do not bring proper ID, you can still vote with a provisional ballot. As long as you are eligible and voted in the proper precinct, your provisional ballot will count if the signature on your provisional ballot matches the signature in your registration record.
