The inaugural meeting of the Sligo Women in Business Network for 2024 will take place in the Sligo Park Hotel on Tuesday, January 30, at 7 p.m. The needs of members from pre-startup to start-up, sole traders, and limited firms for 2024 will be covered in this monthly 90-minute meeting. It will cover tips for more intelligent goal-setting for both the individual and the company, as well as a member panel discussion on rights and obligations related to managing a corporation. The primary goal will be informal member networking as usual.
Maeve McCormack and Fran Best will once again co-chair the meetings for the year. The number of members rose dramatically in 2023 as a result of the organization’s hectic schedule, which featured activities in honor of National Women’s Enterprise Day and International Women’s Day, Maria Walsh MEP’s guest appearance, and an exciting Christmas social.
The goal is to create a talent pool of accomplished women in business who can support and mentor the audience in making successful, long-lasting, and meaningful business decisions. Women company owners will share their experiences, insights, and strategies for overcoming obstacles in the industry. The meeting’s businesswomen hope to motivate, inspire, and equip other women who have the ability to run their own businesses but encounter obstacles along the way.
The networking event will strengthen the bonds and provide other women the opportunity to use their business expertise to launch their new projects appropriately.
