Description |
Trident TGUI9440AGi driver
MS Windows high-res display drivers
For Win3.1, WFW, Win95, NT 3.1, NT3.51
TRIDENT Microsystems, Inc. Copyright (C) 1990-1994
Win3x: Version UA6.1 7/94
Windows NT: Trident 94x0 AGi Driver Version 1.00 Oct. 19, 1994
Windows 95: Linear Addressing Display Driver Version 1.00
Two floppy disk images.
Windows 3.x on Disk 1
Windows NT 3.1/3.5 and Win95 on Disk 2
Note: The Trident TGUI9440 AGi comes in VLB and PCI versions.
From Trident: "All AGI*.DR_ drivers can only run with the Trident TGUI9440AGi.
They will not work for other Trident 9440 versions."
Under Win 3x they only list Trident 9440AGi
Under NT 3.1 and NT 3.5 they only list: Trident 94x0AGi
However there are entries for these in the Win95 section which are for more than the 9440AGi:
*PNP0903.DeviceDesc="Trident 9320/9440/9660/968X, Linear Accelerated For ISA/VL V1.0"
PCI\VEN_1023&DEV_9320.DeviceDesc="Trident 9320, Linear Accelerated For PCI V1.0a"
PCI\VEN_1023&DEV_9440.DeviceDesc="Trident 9440, Linear Accelerated For PCI V1.0a"
PCI\VEN_1023&DEV_9660.DeviceDesc="Trident 9660/968X, Linear Accelerated For PCI V1.0a"
PCI\VEN_1023&DEV_9470.DeviceDesc="Trident 9470, Linear Accelerated For PCI V1.0a"
Note2: the above may be slighty inaccurate as only found thru the files...
