Industrial & Academic Stakeholder event

About the activity

The ambition of the European Commission is to make Europe the world’s first climate neutral continent by 2050. The strategy is to protect, conserve, and enhance the environment and protect citizens’ health and well-being from environment-related risks and impacts.

The European project PIGWEB is funded under the EU Horizon 2020 programme and aims to strengthen the pig research community by providing and facilitating access to research infrastructures, by reinforcing a culture of cooperation between the research community and industrial and societal stakeholders, and by improving and integrating the services provided by the research infrastructures.

The PIGWEB consortium provides the technical and scientific skills on key disciplines that are essential to assess and develop pig production as an element in the sustainable development of food production, in line with the Green Deal approach.
